Our papers are “biological product“ from the ecological point of view. As from the forest cultivation, over the pulp and paper manufacturing up to the printing and recycling we consequently bet on sustaining and environmental-friendly components

Environmental protection + raw material

Raw materials

We are purchasing our premium kraft paper solely from pulp suppliers who have the necessary wood from FSC or PEFC certified woods. This is a certificate awarded by an independent organisation which guarantees sustainable and controlled forest cultivation. It serves to maintain the forest’s sane and serve the growth of the forests. Such a raw material is always more expensive than “depletion of wood“.

Of course we mainly use wood which cannot be used for saw mills and grinding shops. In addition the remaining wood which accumulates in saw mills is used as raw material for the pulp generation. All woods are coming from Europe, here Austria, Sweden and Finland.

It goes without saying that we don`t use wood from the tropics. Besides the irresponsible interference in the environment, this does technically not make any sense. The pulp fibers of wood from the tropics are too short and would not give our paper any strength.

For the rip-proof quality of our kraft paper we need long fibres. We are gaining them mainly from the homelike types such as spruce and pines. Our kraft paper is gained from pure, unbleached fibre paper. White paper is solely bleached free from chlorine.

Reusability

Our products are rip-proof and therefore they can be reused several times. Paper is a natural product and, in comparison with plastic packaging, is completely recyclable and compostible. Our cotton gift wrap ribbon can even be deposited together with the paper. Furthermore, it "curls" just like a plastic ribbon.
